Accredited with degrees in both Songwriting & Performance Poetry from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, køhvt has been described by The Bandcamp Diaries as, "Armed with incredible hooks and even more poignant lyrical wits." Cultivating a loyal & continuously growing fan base, køhvt has garnered millions of streams across platforms. She describes her most recognized song — "Space" — as being about, "Wanting to fly up into space, away from heartbreak & troubles; where the world would seem small enough to twirl on my fingertips." Surpassing two million streams since its 2020 release, "Space" continues to be køhvt's most influential song.
Her music has also received praise from numerous notable outlets — including the highly competitive USA Songwriting Competition — in which her original song, “Think About You” was a recent finalist. In 2021, she released a single titled, "Again & Again" under major record label 7clouds (20M+ YouTube subscribers) that she created with artists Fakti & SPIRIT LINK. Most recently, in August 2023, køhvt was commissioned to co-write & perform the EVO 2023 Tekken championship song, "Rage," which debuted to over 100K people via the Michelob Ultra Arena in Mandalay Bay Las Vegas & livestream. "IMPACT: The Music of EVO 2023" — the album that included "Rage" — then quickly climbed the iTunes charts, reaching #11 in the US, #1 in Canada, & #4 in Mexico.
